Mike Pond is an accomplished executive coach, entrepreneur, and former Olympic coach with a proven track record of leadership across both business and elite sport. As the Founder and Director of Prime100 Pet Foods, Mike led the company’s growth into a market leader, culminating in a majority acquisition by Quadrant Private Equity in 2021. He continues to serve as a board member, contributing to strategic direction and innovation in R&D.
Before his success in business, Mike served as an Olympic Kayak Coach with the Australian Institute of Sport and the Western Australian Institute of Sport. Over a decade-long career, he coached eight Olympic athletes across six Olympic cycles, including the London 2012 Games.
Mike holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Growth Management from Curtin University and is an alumnus of Halftime Australia. He has founded or invested in over ten businesses with successful exits valued between $10M and $750M. With deep expertise in leadership, coaching, and innovation, Mike brings a unique blend of high-performance insight and entrepreneurial acumen to his executive coaching practice.
