Sally attended Waverly Christian College for her primary and secondary schooling and then went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree at Harvest Bible college.
Sally began her professional career as a partner in the startup of a successful commercial fit-out company in Queensland. Her primary role was as contract manager and assistant project manager. Following this, she became the Practice Manger of a private radiology practice where she successfully managed every aspect of the practice including 9 modality types and 25 staff, made up of both technicians and administrative professionals.
Sally works as an Executive Assistant to John Sikkema and is the Operations manager of Food4Thought, a national organisation whose vision is to shift the mindset and paradigm of planting churches with the aim of reaching the lost in the marketplace.
